Snapshots of Docs

This page lists unofficial snapshots of the official Typst Documentation for reading offline (#2089) or using previous versions (#5387).

The above *.zim files were created by running Zimit against typst.app/docs/. (To circumvent Zimit issues, some files have been patched. Refer to patch_zim.py for details.)

To view the contents, you will need a ZIM file reader, which usually means Kiwix. The screenshot below shows how it looks in the Kiwix Firefox extension. It’s in the browser, but totally offline, and even the search box works. Kiwix is also available on other browsers, desktop computers, mobile devices, and more platforms.

  • typst-documentation.pdf (~700 pages) is available since Typst v0.15. You can download it from the latest GitHub Release.

  • docs/README.md contains the instructions for reproducing the documentation (both the website and the PDF). It requires a rust toolchain and ~7 GiB disk space.
